Eric Fansler and Adam Lynch Earn GRI Designation

Smith Mountain Lake, VA (January 27, 2006) – Eric Fansler and Adam Lynch, REALTORS® with Prudential Waterfront Properties, Smith Mountain Lake’s premier real estate company, received the Graduate of Real Estate Institute (GRI) designation.

Fansler has numerous years of professional sales experience. Prior to joining Prudential Waterfront Properties, Fansler was a top producing sales associate with a leading office furniture dealership in Richmond. His job involved meeting the needs of a diverse customer base through effective space planning, selling, budgeting, problem solving, and logistical coordination. Fansler graduated from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina and earned a B.S. degree in Management with a minor in Geography. Fansler resides in The Waterfront Country Club community in Moneta with his wife, Andrea and their two sons.

Lynch has over fourteen years of professional work experience. Prior to joining Prudential Waterfront Properties, Lynch worked as an assistant for Charles H. Lynch Building Contractor. He helped build several properties in The Water’s Edge, The Boardwalk and other upscale communities around Smith Mountain Lake and surrounding areas. Lynch is a member Virginia Association of REALTORS, National Association of REALTORS, and Smith Mountain Lake Chamber of Commerce. He is a graduate from University of Tennessee at Knoxville and earned a B.A. degree in History. Lynch is a native of and currently resides in Franklin County.

Blue Ridge Chapter PRSA Announces 2006 Officers

ROANOKE , VA (January 3, 2006) — The Blue Ridge Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) is pleased to announce the group’s newly elected officers for 2006.

Christopher Finley, Director of Marketing and Public Relations for The Willard Companies and Prudential Waterfront Properties, will serve as president. Seven other Southwest Virginia public relations professionals will serve in the following roles: president-elect, secretary, treasurer, assembly delegate and two directors at large. The immediate past president also serves on the board. A detailed listing of elected officers is included below.

The elected board also announced chair appointments for 13 committees as well as appointments for professional and academic advisors to Southwest Virginia chapters of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA). The committees include: accreditation, awards, diversity, ethics, hospitality, membership, nominating, professional development, programs, publications, public relations, public service and website.

PRSA is the world’s largest association of public relations professionals. The society’s members represent business and industry, counseling firms, government, associations, hospitals, schools, professional service firms and nonprofit organizations. The purpose of PRSA is to unite professionals, set industry standards and a Code of Ethics for performance, and to increase public recognition of the public relations profession.
