Waterfront Properties Appoints New REALTOR

Smith Mountain Lake, VA (January 24, 2005) – Waterfront Properties, Smith Mountain Lake’s premier real estate company, welcomes it’s newest REALTOR®, Kim Davis, to its sales team.

Davis was born in Franklin County, raised in Collinsville, and spent many summers on the lake. She lived in Atlanta and Greensboro working in sales with a major telecommunications firm. She happily returned home to Franklin County eight years ago. Davis and her husband live at Smith Mountain Lake with their three children and love the lifestyle the lake has to offer.

Prior to becoming a member of the RVAR, Kim and her husband Duane developed land and built houses throughout Franklin County. She is happy to see the area grow while preserving so much of its natural beauty.  Kim is ready to assist all buyers in finding townhomes, condominiums, single-family homes or lots for sale that fits any need. As members of the Multiple Listing Service, Davis is able to assist buyers and sellers with all listed properties in a variety of price ranges and locations.

Ron Willard, II Elected President of Roanoke Homebuilders Association

Salem, VA (January 10, 2005)– Ronald L. Willard, II was installed as the 51st president of the Roanoke Regional Home Builders Association, Inc. (RRHBA) during the Association’s ceremony held on January 8, 2005. As RRHBA’s chief elected officer for 20045, Mr. Willard will oversee the work of the organization, which is the fourth largest home builders trade association in Virginia. May 15, 2005, will mark the Association’s 50th Anniversary.

Waterfront Properties Bitsy Davis Named President-Elect of Roanoke Valley Realtors Association

Smith Mountain Lake, VA (January 3, 2005) – Bitsy Davis, a REALTOR® with Waterfront Properties, Smith Mountain Lake’s premier real estate company, has been named president-elect for The Roanoke Valley Association of Realtors (RVAR). Davis was installed at a December 6 luncheon held at the Hotel Roanoke.

Davis has over twenty four years of professional real estate sales experience. Bitsy joined Waterfront Properties in 1985. She earned the Council of Residential Specialists (CRS) designation, is a graduate of the Realtors Institute of Virginia (GRI designation) and is e-PRO certified. Bitsy is a consistent top award winning agent with Waterfront Properties and The Roanoke Valley Association of Realtors since her first year in the Real Estate business, including Sales Agent of the Year, Diamond and Platinum awards. Bitsy graduated from National Business College and attended Virginia Western Community College in Roanoke, Virginia. Bitsy and her husband, Richard, have one daughter, Michelle, who graduated from the University of Michigan in December 2004.
